I love Mexican food and this post has my Low-Carb Mexican Food Favorites, with 20 amazing recipes featured here. And most of the delicious Mexican dishes are also gluten-free, and all of them will be a tasty dinner when you’re craving Mexican flavors but don’t want too many carbs.

These Low-Carb Mexican Food Favorites are menu suggestions for everyone who wants to celebrate Cinco de Mayo without overdoing it on the carbs! And Cinco de Mayo is less than ten days away, so I hope you’re starting to think about your menu!
I always use any excuse there is to go out to my favorite Mexican restaurant with friends! But when I’m making Mexican food at home, I want it to be lower in carbs, and these recipes include the low-carb Mexican food dinners I never get tired of, and they’re recipes I’ve made many times!
And all of my favorite Mexican food dishes are much, much lower-carb than the Mexican food you’d get in a restaurant. Many of my favorites are also gluten-free, (Use gluten-free ingredients when specified. The recipes with low-carb tortillas are not gluten-free unless you use gluten-free tortillas.)
I also think these Mexican recipes are pretty family-friendly, although some things might be a bit spicy for kids. But hopefully you can find something in this collection of favorites that your family will like; hope you enjoy!

I love Mexican food! You have so many great sounding Mexican recipes and I plan to give many of them a try.
