Today I’m spotlighting Low-Carb and Keto Stew Recipes from Kalyn’s Kitchen to give you some tasty dinner ideas. I’ve mentioned a few times how I really don’t like cold weather but I do like cold weather foods. And when it’s cold there’s nothing more warm and comforting than a big warm bowl of stew.
There are tasty stew recipes here with a variety of ingredients, and all these recipes are low in carbs. Some of them I’m considering Keto stew recipes (especially when they work well as a one dish meal). Others I’d consider low-carb stew recipes but not quite low enough in carbs to be called Keto. Some recipe have tips to make them lower in carbs if you prefer that option.

Low-Carb and Keto Stew Recipes:
I love to add a squeeze of lime to this Southwestern Beef Stew that has 5.6 net carbs and 36 grams of protein! This can be made in the Instant Pot and the recipe has a link to the slow cooker version.
Italian Beef Stew (with Zucchini, Mushrooms, and Basil) is loaded with amazing flavor! Just replace the basil with pesto from a jar if it’s not fresh basil season. This is perfect to eat as a one-dish meal, so I’m calling it Keto with 8 net carbs per serving and 47 grams of protein!
Instant Pot Mexican Pork Stew has pork sirloin, bacon, chile peppers, red bell pepper, sweet potatoes, Mexican spices, and lime. The recipe has 15 net carbs with sweet potatoes, but there are suggestions for lower carbs.
Italian Sausage Stew can be made in the slow cooker or the Instant Pot. This is delicious whether or not you use the optional Parmesan cheese to add at the table. This recipe has 10.3 net carbs and 40 grams of protein!
This wonderful Garlic Lover’s CrockPot Beef Stew has olives, capers, and tomatoes besides the garlic. This recipe has 10.7 net carbs per serving and 59 grams of protein. You can use less tomato sauce and tomato paste if you want fewer carbs.
Chicken and Sausage Stew is a creamy Instant Pot or Slow Cooker stew with chicken, Andouille sausage, red peppers, and Creole seasoning. Eat this stew in a bowl for only 9.9 net carbs per serving, or serve over cauliflower rice if you don’t mind more carbs.
This Slow Cooker Turkey Stew has sweet and spicy Asian flavors and it was updated to be lower in carbs. This has 11.4 net carbs and 46 grams of protein when it’s served in a bowl without cauliflower rice.
This Sausage and Chickpea Stew is a delicious slow cooker stew with 16.8 net carbs and 20 grams of protein. You can just use sausage and omit the chickpeas if you prefer lower carbs!
