South Beach Recipes of the Week #12:
Zucchini and Eggplant
I’ve been posting these *South Beach Recipes of the Week* on Saturday, but now I’ve decided to start taking Saturday off from posting to the blog. Hereafter Saturday shall be declared *blog maintenance day*. Of course, there are still plenty of great South Beach Diet friendly recipes in Kalyns Kitchen Recipe Archives for you to play around with on Saturdays. I’ll be posting South Beach Recipes of the Week on Sundays from now on.
This week there are so many great recipes featuring squash or eggplant that I couldn’t narrow it down to just four, so there’s a bonus recipe. Whether or not you’re a South Beach Dieter, I bet you’ll see something here that looks good!
Those are the great South Beach recipes I found this week. If you’re still wanting to read a bit more about food, check out the new things posted lately on Blogher Food and Drink, where I also write:
I wrote about the Bay Area Food Bloggers Picnic.
Alanna wrote about Funny Food Blog Posts.
Mir lamented the lack of quality in School Lunches.
I spotlighted La Festa al Fresca.
Alanna found some Food Blogs in Africa.
If you still have tomatoes in your garden, you must read my post about More and More Tomato Love.
Sam wrote about Bringing Home the Bacon.
Alanna talked about a Iamjudy who is experimenting with living at the poverty level of $62 a week for food.
I featured Lex Culinaria’s comments on Table Manners.
Sam shares the adventures of someone who is teaching cooking to adolescents.
Alanna ponders what Chinois has to do with Canadian food.
Finally, I enjoy visiting Sardinia with Lulu Loves London.
Reminder: you need to get busy if you’re going to be doing some Weekend Herb Blogging. WHB is off traveling again this week, visiting Milan, Italy, where Piperita of The Kitchen Pantry is the host. Send your links to peppermintpatt AT gmail DOT com by 3:00 today, Utah time, so Piperita has time to include you in the recap which will be posted sometime tomorrow. Be sure to link to The Kitchen Pantry and include the words Weekend Herb Blogging somewhere in your post.
