Instant Pot or Pressure Cooker Recipes

This page has recipes you can make using the Instant Pot, an Electric Pressure Cooker, or a Stovetop Pressure Cooker.  Some (but not all) of these recipes also have instructions for cooking the dish on the stove without a pressure cooker.

For the South Beach Diet, notations after each recipe listing indicate Kalyn’s opinion as to which phase of the diet that recipe can be used for.

  1. I started out with the pressure cooker that's linked in this recipe. It was a very good quality model, and I was totally happy with it. Then my sister got an electric Cuisinart pressure cooker. I got one of those and wrote about it in this post. I love the electric pressure cooker even more because it turns off automatically.

My friend Barbara has a pressure cooker blog, also linked in that second post. I think whichever kind you buy, if you like quick recipes you'll love the pressure cooker.

  2. I'm afraid to try a pressure cooker as I know not a thing about them. Would you please let me know which one you use, and what you like/don't like about it?
