It’s time for another Friday collection of tasty low-carb recipes you might want to try. Use the Recipes-by-Diet-Type Index to find more recipes like these. And read below about the fun we’re going to have later this weekend counting down the Top Ten Low-Carb Zucchini Recipes from Kalyn’s Kitchen!
If you have a vegetable garden, you’re probably all too aware that it’s time for that special zucchini holiday
(coming up next Monday) that celebrates the tricks people will use to try to get rid of excess zucchini when they can’t possibly eat it all!
Through the years I’ve done my part to help with the too-much-zucchini problem by collecting 50 Zucchini Recipes
and updating the post every summer. And you also might have noticed that for several weeks now I’ve been featuring a few low-carb zucchini recipes each week in these round-up posts. But still the zucchini keeps coming, right?
If you enter zucchini into the search bar on this blog
, there are over 1,700 results, and I’m guessing there are well over 100 different zucchini recipes on the site. Which got me to wondering, which ones out of all those zucchini recipes would be the top ten most popular low-carb zucchini recipes from Kalyn’s Kitchen?
So I did some poking around behind the scenes and analyzed the results. And my creative brother Rand helped me hatch up a plan reveal those Top Ten Low-Carb Zucchini Recipes from Kalyn’s Kitchen
one at a time all day long this Sunday on the Kalyn’s Kitchen Facebook Page
. That way you’ll have them in plenty of time in case you do get gifted some zucchini! And if you miss them on Facebook you can check back Sunday night when I’ll be posting the list.
I will say I was surprised at the huge number of views that some of these recipes had. And also a bit dismayed that a couple of my personal faves didn’t come even close to making the cut! But the readers have spoken, and the top ten list will be the recipes you’ve visited most over 11+ years of zucchini recipes on the site.
Now getting back to Low-Carb Recipe Love on Fridays, I hope that between now and Sunday you might try one of the recipes getting the love in this week’s round-up; please come back and let us know if you find one that’s a winner.

I’m a firm believer that you can never have too many tasty ideas for grilled chicken, and these Chicken Skewers with Taratur Sauce
from Diethood sound amazing. I’m especially intrigued with the Taratur Sauce that has some of the same ingredients as the Tzatziki Sauce
I love so much, but Katerina says this Macedonian sauce is definitely different.
In Utah the temperatures are still hovering around 100F most days, so something cool like this Zucchini Noodle Salad with Parmesan and Walnuts
from I Breathe I’m Hungry sounds perfect for a light meal. There are a lot of salad ideas with zucchini noodles, but this one has some chopped radicchio for color, and I love the use of shaved Parmesan too.
If you’re interested in low-carb eating you’ve probably heard of the famous Fathead Cheese Dough
that’s mostly cream cheese, cheese, and almond flour. I’m intrigued, although I haven’t experimented much with this kind of “bread.” But these White Cheddar Sausage Breakfast Biscuits
from Peace, Love, and Low-Carb Definitely sound amazing. PLEASE report back if you try this one!
Low-Carb Fried Zucchini
from Buns in my Oven looks familiar, so I may have featured it before in a round-up, but no worries. This recipe that coats zucchini with coconut flour and Parmesan cheese before it’s fried looks good enough to be a repeater! And I bet this could help you get even the pickiest kids to eat some zucchini.
And from Kalyn’s Kitchen this week, Al’s Famous Hungarian Cucumber Salad
is a recipe I learned to make from my friend Al, and I’ve been making it ever summer since Al first gave me the recipe. I promise that if you try this, it will become a summer stand-by at your house as well!
