Low-Carb Recipe Love on Fridays (7-1-16)
Here’s another Friday collection of tasty low-carb recipes from Kalyn’s Kitchen and other great blogs! Use the Diet-Type Index to find more low-carb and gluten-free recipes like these.
And just like that it’s July! Do you think the warm weather months seem like they just whiz by and the colder months drag on and on? I’ve always felt that way, which is why you need to make the most of it when you have warm weather treats like garden tomatoes, zucchini, and foods from the grill.
I’m having fun finding low-carb recipe ideas that look like a treat to me and bringing them to you every Friday. It’s the Fourth of July weekend in the U.S. and my nephew Kent and his family are going to be visiting Utah and they’re staying at my house for a few days. Then on the Fourth of July we will be going to my brother Dave’s house where he has a view several fireworks events all at once. So it’s going to be a fun holiday weekend here; hope everyone else enjoys the holiday!

You might be having guests over during the holiday weekend, and if so I think these Antipasto Skewers
from Two Twenty One sound amazing for a low-carb appetizer. The pieces of fresh spinach tucked in between the other ingredients are what makes this a WOW for me!
It was just the simple idea of adding sliced lemon to the skewers that made me swoon over these Grilled Lemon Salmon Skewers
from Yummy Healthy Easy. This looks like a MUST-TRY to me!
Zucchini is starting to become pretty abundant for some people, and these Crispy Parmesan Zucchini Fries
from Wholesome Yum sound delicious. Maya has a great recipe for a low-carb sauce to dip them into as well.
And from Kalyn’s Kitchen this week I’m recommending these Garlic, Lemon, and Herb Grilled Chicken Breasts
that I’ve made over and over for guests. And once when I made them for my friend Mary and her grandkids, one of the kids said “Now this is GOOD chicken!”
