It’s Friday! Even for people like me who work at home, Friday feels a bit different than the other days, and today I’m celebrating Friday by going to lunch with my gorgeous niece Kristen and her two adorable boys.
This month is also Father’s Day in the U.S., and like always I’m missing my dad. Nothing would make me happier than to be able to make Family Favorite Shrimp and Macaroni Salad
for him, like I did on so many Father’s Days through the years. (And that’s most definitely not a low-carb recipe, although I do use more shrimp and less macaroni to make it a bit healthier.)
I don’t know if there are certain foods that men like more than women, but for this week’s edition of Low-Carb Recipe Love on Fridays, I did try to pick choices that might work for Father’s Day for those who are celebrating. And these party-friendly low-carb recipes could be fun for other summer parties coming up as well; hope you enjoy trying one or two of them!
