25 Deliciously Healthy Low-Carb Recipes from October

25 Deliciously Healthy Low-Carb and Gluten-Free Recipes from October 2015; many are also South Beach Diet Phase One, Paleo, or Whole 30. Use the Diet-Type Index to find more low-carb and gluten-free recipes like these.
I hope everyone who appreciates these Deliciously Healthy Low-Carb Recipes Round-Ups will leave a comment and let me know, because this month I procrastinated and ended up having to spend nearly all day (on Halloween!) writing this round-up to get it done. And a lot of the blogs I normally feature seemed to be posting pumpkin treats during October, and I don’t use desserts in these round-ups, so it was much harder than usual to find 25 good ones!
I know, whine, whine, whine. Seriously I do enjoy this tradition of featuring some of my food blogging friends on the first day of each new month, and I did manage to find one new-to-me blog again this month, which is always my goal. We’re heading into the holiday season when so many tempting foods are everywhere you look, so maybe some of these dishes can help you get through the next two months; enjoy!
(All photos in the round-ups are copyrighted by the original blog. Click the recipe name under each photo to see the complete recipe on the site where I found that recipe. Sometimes small changes are needed to make a recipe suitable for certain diet plans; those things are noted.)
Hope you enjoy checking out the recipes! If you try a recipe and want to share your thoughts, comments are always appreciated, either here or on the original site who posted the recipe.
Spicy Harissa Roasted Pork Tenderloin from The Wanderlust Kitchen. (The Harissa glaze has a tiny bit of brown sugar, but I would still consider this Low-Carb and South Beach Diet Phase One, and it’s Gluten-Free.)
Brown Butter and Sage Pan Seared Pork Chops from Carrie’s Experimental Kitchen. (Low-Carb, Gluten-Free. Butter is not recommended for the South Beach Diet, but you’re only eating the small amount of butter that sticks to the meat, so I’d eat these as an occasional treat for Phase One.)
Pressure Cooker Pulled Pork from Bewitching Kitchen. (This recipe has a tiny bit of apple cider, but I would still consider it to be Low-Carb and suitable for the South Beach Diet Phase One, and it’s Gluten-Free.)
Veggie Frittata from Hip Foodie Mom. (Low-Carb, Gluten-Free, South Beach Diet Phase One.)
Pan-Fried London Broil Steak from Simply Recipes. (Low-Carb, Gluten-Free. Butter is not recommended for the South Beach Diet, but you’re only eating the small amount of butter that sticks to the meat and I’d definitely eat this for Phase One.)
