Here are the 25 Deliciously Healthy Low-Carb Recipes from June 2015 that I posted on Kalyn’s Kitchen or spotted on other great blogs; enjoy! Use the Recipes-by-Diet-Type Index to find more recipes like these.
My friends and family tell me often that no one notices or cares if there’s any kind of schedule for the blog, but even if the schedule only exists in my mind, I feel a little odd to be posting this round-up of 25 Deliciously Healthy Low-Carb Recipes a week into the new month. But I was pretty sure you wouldn’t be thinking about low-carb menu planning over the 4th of July weekend, right? I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, even if you might have overindulged a bit. I know I did and I’m ready to get back on track.
It might seem like I say this every month, but once again I’m delighted with the wonderful low-carb recipe ideas I managed to find. And again this month I’m sharing some blogs that have rarely or never been featured in these round-ups. Writing a round-up post like this is a fair amount of work, but I love spotlighting my fellow bloggers and I hope you enjoy discovering new healthy eating blogs and maybe some new favorite recipes this way!
(Photos in these round-ups are copyrighted to the original blog. Click the recipe name under any photo to get the complete recipe from the site where I found that recipe. Sometimes small changes are needed to make a recipe suitable for certain diet plans; those changes are noted.)
Quick and Easy BLT Salad from Kalyn’s Kitchen. (Low-Carb, Gluten-Free. With approved bacon (without sugar) this could be Paleo or Whole 30. South Beach doesn’t recommend bacon, but there’s not a huge amount of bacon here and I’d probably eat this for Phase One.)
Bacon Cauliflower Garlic Fried Rice from Jeanette’s Healthy Living. (Low-Carb, Gluten-Free. South doesn’t recommend bacon for Phase One but this recipe uses a tiny amount and I would eat it for Phase One.)
Pan-Seared Balsamic Pork Chops from Carrie’s Experimental Kitchen. (Low-Carb, Gluten-Free, South Beach Phase One. If you omit the tiny amount of butter and use all olive oil, this recipe can be Paleo and Whole 30.)
Thai Basil Ground Beef Bowl (with Cauliflower Rice) from Slender Kitchen. (Low-Carb, Gluten-Free, South Beach Phase One. With the right ingredient choices this can be Paleo or Whole 30.)
Cilantro-Lime Grilled Chicken from Foodie Crush. (Gluten-Free. Even though this recipe has a little honey in the marinade I would consider it low-carb, and South Beach Phase One, since you’re only eating the small amount of honey that sticks to the chicken. With approved honey it can also be Paleo and Whole 30.)
